what i have to share
I was tagged by Shelley last week to write 7 random things about me.
1. Yesterday I was looking for a barrette and came across this blue one my sister bought me. I thought back to ten years ago when I received it in the mail and why she bought them for me. I wanted to feel close to her so I wore the barrette and then I changed my earrings to pairs that she had given me.
2. I love how objects hold energy and memory.
3. I love barrettes and earrings. They are often the biggest dressing choice I make of the day. I take way too long to pick them out in the morning.
4. I saw these two videos on Krista's blog last week. I showed Year of the Rat to Ethan and Maggie and they kept wanting to watch it.
5. We are in the year of the rat. (We had fun looking up what we all are~ Ethan was delighted he was born in the year of the horse.)
6. The odd thing about the two songs on Krista's blog post is that on Valentines Day we went to Newbury Comics so I could buy that Badly Drawn Boy CD, we have several of their disc's already, but not One Plus One is One. In the store I was watching Ethan and Maggie so I didn't see what Sean was purchasing. Yesterday I heard Sean playing this Death Cab for Cutie song. I asked Sean when he got their CD and he said he had bought it with the Badly Drawn Boy disc. Isn't that odd? I don't know how they are connected~ Death Cab for Cutie and Badly Drawn Boy, but apparently somehow they are.
7. Instead of tagging people I would love for you to share on your blog/in the comments here what You Tube video is on your mind~
and/Or
Watch this series of videos on Law of Attraction.

and let me know what you think. I have seen them quite a few times.
All 5 parts are about 40 minutes long.
Worth every minute.
added later... I am dedicating this video to my Maggie. We just got back from the doctor and she has a double ear infection. We listened to this song over and over on the way there and back.
i love the barrett! you are sparkling in this picture, melba. so you have an irish twin also? brother or sister. my brother and i have kinda our own special way of communicating, which i had no idea about until other people pointed it out. cool, huh?
have a wonderful thursday.

I'm not big on youtube, but I love all of these links you gave us. I'll have to watch them. I too believe that objects hold onto a lot of energy. Very pretty earrings and barette! xo.. ps.. I hope Maggie feels better soon!

Melba,
I am so sorry to hear Maggie has a double ear infection. Knock on wood, my kiddos haven't had any ear infections yet. But my mom, had me who was plagued with them. I still have the LOA videos on my to-do list for this week. :) Take care! (Jessie, your post was so sweet!)

Melba, thank you for the links to the LOA videos. I can't wait to watch them since I have been especially hungry for this sort of thing. Also, I want you to know that you have been giving me a lot of inspiration these days. I wrote about you today on my blog. You'll have to go check it out, but please don't think I'm a copy-cat. I couldn't help it, you inspired me just too much to hold back! :)
love you,
j.
