Swap Days - Receiving our books.
During this week, our books will be traveling the world. For those of us who participated in this swap, your books should have been mailed. Any day now, you will receive a package from another blogger.
Please take some time to thank your partner. Take a minute to blog about your gift. Write about the book that YOU sent out into the world and tell us why you choose that book. What makes it significant to you? Why does it stand out among so many others?
I know that I had a hard time choosing the perfect book to send. Words speak so deeply and can bring so much to a person. They can fill you with hope and promise, they can wrap you in comfort, rocking you through the night. Words can entice and inspire. Words are memorable, meaningful. They can have life-changing and life-enchanting effects on us.
I hope that you will never underestimate the power of words; both written and spoken. That you will seek to use the right words to express yourself, to bring yourself closer to others, to find connections that may never have been. That you will choose words that invoke love and kindness and fill others up with support and encouragement.
Thank you for sharing your words, your books, your friendship with everyone through CaC. It has made me so happy to be part of this with you all!

Thank you Tanaya for all the hard work you put into organizing this! And thank you also for these words, for the reminder that the power of language should never be underestimated.
You are wonderful.

It took me a bit of time to get hooked up with the person I'm sending to, and their book is still in transit on the way TO me. So I will probably be the last to post on here that my book is going out in the world to find its new home. sigh.
I been sick - what can I say. I just thought I would be the first to pipe in with my excuse.
Or maybe the only one. :)
