Dialogue Friday - Home
We just returned from a bit of an arduous family vacation.
(You can read about it here.)
Traveling with small children sure is hard. Aside from the good times and memories we were able to create in spite of the parental and scheduling hardships we encountered, this trip served to remind me just how much I adore being home. I don't know what it is about my home that I love so much. Our house is not big or fancy and it's rarely really clean. It's not organized and I could rattle off a list of 20 things just off the top of my head that I would love to change about it. But it's not about the house, is it? The saying, after all, is: "HOME is where the heart is" and my heart is definitely here within these walls and this life and the security, comfort and simple happiness it provides so generously.
So, for this Dialog Friday, tell me: What is "HOME" to you?
Peace,
Nino from Cease, Cows....
Home is where my family is and wherever you create what is special and important to the ones you love.

Home is right here in the center of Connecticut. I was born here in Connecticut down in Bridgeport and we moved to this town in 1955. I have lived here since with the only exception being the years I was away for college and I built my house only two miles away from my parent’s house.
My brother on the other hand has moved with his family five different states in seven different homes. His kids now live scattered from coast to coast and we only see them on holidays. And if we are lucky three out of the four will be home for the holiday.
I think I have a sense of “Home” but for them, “Home” is where they drop their bag.

I'm the first to share, though I could have went on and on, home is so many things
I dwell in my poems, in my paintings,in my imagination most of the time...I'm not sure if I always belong to reality because it can ache a bit for too emotional souls like I
